Very fine condition. Fine green and red patina.

The winged sphinx, a mythological animal with human head and lion body, is crouching with frontal head, long curly hair and raised wings with looped ends. The tail is folded along the left side of the body. The figure is finely modeled with incised details, in a majestic attitude. It is seated on a flat base with two holes for attachment.
