Canaanite bronze battle axe of ???Duck Bill?? type.
Middle Bronze Age IIa: 2000-1750 BC.
Height: 10.3 cm. (4 in.).
Perfect condition. Fine red and green patina.

The battle axe of “Duck Bill” type with oblong rounded blade, fenestrated with two oblong openings. The axe is decorated with relief of waves parallel to the rounded end of the blade. The two openings are framed with fine ridges. The socket is inserted with additional bronze sheet, which used to wrap the wooden handle.
