Sidonian mold-blown amber glass “Date Flask”.
1st – 2nd century AD.
H. 7cm. (2 ¾ in.)
Rim partly restored, otherwise perfect. Fine silvery iridescence.
Ex. Devor glass collection, Jerusalem, prior to 1977.

The body blown into two-part mold, modeled in the form of the date fruit, with short cylindrical neck and flaring folded rim.
