Canaanite bronze battle axe of ???Eyeglasses - Duck Bill?? transitional type.
Middle Bronze Age I- IIa: 2200-1750 BC.
H. 10.2 cm. ( 4 in), W. 6.2 cm. (2 7/16 in)
Minor chip at the socket, otherwise perfect. Fine green patina.

The battle axe of transitional type between the wider “Eyeglasses” and the narrower “Duck Bill” types, with oblong rounded blade with central ridge, fenestrated with two oblong openings, and a socket at the back.
